When last we wrote about Canon’s toner cartridge investigation before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), Canon had been given leave to amend its complaint and terminate certain patent claims from the investigation (see “ALJ Lord Grants Canon’s Motion to Amend ITC Complaint, Canon Sees Another Settlement”). Also, GPC Trading and Canon had asked the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York to enter a consent judgment and permanent injunction that would end Canon’s lawsuit against the firm in district court.
